Meet Hayley Naggar: From stressing with schoolwork to horse showing champion

About Hayley Naggar
Hayley is a top junior equestrian whose passion for competing in Arabian horse classes has taken her all over the United States. Competing alongside her beloved partner, Jafar AJF, Hayley is taking the horse showing world by storm.
What was school like before USPA?
Rather than being able to focus on building her partnership with Jafar AJF and working on her riding, Hayley was constantly rushing to fit everything into her busy schedule. Hours spent in a classroom meant less time at the barn and constant worry about how much school she was missing during the competitive season.
Why did Hayley join USPA?
Hayley chose USPA for its flexible curriculum and global access, which allowed her to study anytime from anywhere while still getting a great education with classes that challenge her. Now, rather than worrying about missed school and overdue assignments, Hayley is able to focus her attention on winning shows, utilizing long drives to and from the showgrounds or downtime between barn chores and riding to get through her schoolwork.
What’s next for Hayley?
By removing the pressure of strict school schedules and allowing her to learn from wherever her sport takes her, Hayley was able to up her game in the ring. She recently competed in the Youth and Mid-Summer Nationals, where she cleaned up in the Arabian Breed Classes, achieving:
- National Champion – Arabian Ladies’ Side Saddle All Seats JOTR
- Reserve National Champion – Hunter Pleasure JTR Select 15-18
- Third place – Hunter Pleasure JOTR 15-18
Hayley plans to apply to colleges where she can pursue her equestrian dreams.
