USPA Admissions Process

What to Expect When Applying to USPA

At USPA we provide a personal approach every step of our admissions process. We offer rolling admissions, which means that students are not tied to a traditional academic calendar. The below application process is designed to provide our team with a chance to learn about your families needs, interests, goals and learning style.

1. Getting Started

To begin the process, please connect with a USPA Family Advisor by filling out the below form:

2. Expect a call within 24 hours

A member from our team will contact you to learn more about your families goals for your student.

3. Interview

A video conference with you and your son/daughter will be scheduled. This gives us a chance to get to know your family as well as your athletic and academic goals. Students are asked to complete the online application (there is a non-refundable $100 fee) and any additional forms or testing that are necessary for proper course and grade-level placement.

4. Admissions Decision

After our team interviews the student and reviews the application, our Director of Admissions, Jeff Natale will notify the family with a decision.

5. Enrollment and Contract

Students who enroll at USPA are requested to make a deposit payment on receipt of their contract and tuition invoice.

6. Meet your Student Success Coordinator, Jess

Jess will get the course selection process started and introduce the student to their personal learning coach.

Click the below “Apply Today” button, and select the “Create Account” link.
You will be set up with a user name and password.

Voices in the Community

The support of my learning coach meant the world to me. Without his guidance and encouragement through the tough times, I certainly wouldn’t be the person I am today. The entire experience at USPA had an immense impact on me and prepared me to be my best self at the US Coast Guard Academy.”

Laura Slovensky, USPA Alumni, Sailing

USPA has been a game–changer for our family! Our daughter was in a fantastic private school prior to joining USPA in 6th grade, but she is a competitive figure skater, and it was becoming harder and harder for the school to accommodate her training schedule. We decided to make the jump to online school, and the transition has been very smooth.”

Eva Beninson, USPA Student, Figure Skating

“I wanted an option that would allow me to access prime morning training. USPA was the ideal solution. It allowed me to train and compete at the highest level, and also to complete courses at my own pace. That meant taking a couple summer courses to lighten my academic load in winter. Compared to my peers, I found I devoted more energy to skiing, and less to being stressed about school deadlines. They were far more worried, and I think it took more of a toll.”

Allison Mollin, USPA Alumni, Ski Racing – US Ski Team
