About:

I’m an artist and educator with more than a decade of teaching experience and a professional background that includes painting, illustration, photography, film, scenic art, and art curriculum development.  I hold a master’s degree in art education, and creativity has always been a big part of both my professional and personal life.  Outside of teaching, I love painting in my studio, photography, acting in local theatre, and spending time in forests.

What I enjoy most about teaching is helping students discover their own inner artist. I believe art is subjective and that creativity looks different for everyone. My goal is to make art approachable and enjoyable while giving students the skills and knowledge they need to grow, experiment, take creative risks, and develop their own artistic voice.
