Education:

• B.A. in History/Secondary Education from Green Mountain College
• M.Ed. in Middle Grades Education-Social Studies from University of North Carolina Charlotte.

About:

Joseph has been teaching since 2013, and his primary goal is to have students develop the skills and tools necessary to be an informed participant in our global community. His teaching philosophy is student-centered, and stresses the learning process over the final product. Critical thinking, considering multiple perspectives, crafting arguments, and supporting reasoning using facts and logic are the primary objective of any course he teaches. Outside of the classroom Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, reading about history, playing video games, and watching plants grow in his garden.
