Tricia Byrnes is a former professional snowboarder and industry icon. She was a member of the U.S. Snowboarding team for 10 years, a 2002 Olympian (finishing sixth in halfpipe).
Tricia has had her paws in everything shred for the last two and a half decades. Competing in nearly every halfpipe snowboarding event for 20 years, from backyard jams to the Olympics and working in various capacities in the industry from athlete manager to TV and Web commentator. Byrnes continues to have a passion for competitive snowboarding and the athletes that shape and define the sport.
Currently Tricia is the Marketing and Partnerships manager with USASA and is passionate about supporting the future generations of snowboarders and freeskiers and creating a space for athletes to discover and pursue their athletic goals.
Favorite days are spent riding pow with friends on highlands bowl, backpacking in the wilds with her husband, Cairo or sipping piping hot matcha lattes.
