Franco is an experienced professor and soccer journalist hailing from Rome, Italy. He has previously been Adjunct Professor of Italian Language and Culture at Yantai University (China) and Professor of Chinese Language, Chinese Culture, Italian-Chinese Translation and Interpreting at Columbus Academy (Italy). His articles have appeared on a vast array of print and online publications, including The Guardian, Scotland on Sunday, Glory, These Football Times and many others. He spends most of his free time working out on the still rings and reading Russian and post-colonial literature.
