“Being able to take USPA with me wherever I go and my learning coach Kaitlyn, helped me grow
as a rider and a person.” – Paige McWhinney
Portofino, Armagedon, Luigi and El Pacho are the names of just a few of Paige’s horses. Paige is
heading to CU Boulder to study business. She hopes to keep good grades, meet many new
people and travel. Eventually she wants to ride professionally and start her own business. Her
degree will set her on that path.

“I would like to make a difference in the world by continuing to close the gap between female
and male rider success and competitiveness,” says Paige, whose biggest inspiration are her
parents and her trainer JJ – who always pushes her to be her best.

“I am so happy I got to work with you this year! You were always on top of your schoolwork and
advocated for yourself with such gusto! I am so proud of your hard work and your diligence to
make sure you were understanding the content completely. With this work ethic and dedication
to your education – I have no doubt that you will continue to be successful in your future
endeavors. Good luck!” – Amy Richard, USPA History Teacher
