Jeanna began her career as a probation officer working with youth and found she really wanted to be more involved with helping at-risk youth become independent and successful despite the many barriers they faced in their lives. Jeanna became a career specialist and has spent the last seven years helping young adults and adults overcome challenges to complete their educational goals and obtain successful, long-term careers. Jeanna created and implemented the first Pre-Apprenticeship to Apprenticeship Program in North Carolina for career centers as well as the first Skill Enhancement and Employee Development Program for housing authority residents in New Jersey. Jeanna is strongly passionate about ensuring young adults and adults are aware of all resources and opportunities available to them in the educational and workforce worlds.
Jeanna holds a BA in Sociology and a BA in Criminal Justice from Russell Sage College. She is originally from Western Massachusetts but has spent the last five years living in several different east coast states due to being a military spouse. She currently resides in New Jersey with her husband and one-year-old son. Jeanna enjoys reading, hiking, fishing, traveling, and beautiful days spent outside with her family listening to music.
