American Youth Football Now Offering Education with US Performance Academy
American Youth Football (AYF) and US Performance Academy (USPA) have created a partnership in order to train, support, and educate young football players looking to find the balance between athletics and academics.
“We have been on the hunt for a fantastic school to recommend to our young athletes,” said Dee Grayer, President of AYF. “Meeting the team, learning about the athlete-focused support, and seeing how we aligned on so many levels, US Performance Academy was the obvious choice as a preferred educational option for our young football players..”
USPA is an accredited, NCAA approved, private, online, middle and high school created for high-performance athletes. Designed by athletes and educators, USPA benefits driven students who are training, traveling, competing, and pushing to the next level. The online curriculum allows for a flexible school schedule and academic calendar. The support system keeps students involved, motivated, and on track to success. And the focus on the student-athlete’s future goals and aspirations opens up a doorway to future opportunities. Working with its partners, US Performance Academy not only offers excellent academics, but builds the total student athlete via performance training, mental skills, and nutritional guidance.
AYF is the world’s largest youth football organization. American Youth Football, Inc., established in 1996, is a support services organization, dedicated to giving back to communities by promoting the wholesome development of youth through their association with exemplary adult leaders in the sport of American football and cheer. Guidelines are established to ensure that players play in an atmosphere of learning with a competitive balance between teams.
“We were so pleased to be introduced to AYF’s leadership through Sports Academy.” said Pete Smith, President of USPA. “What stood out the most were our initial calls. I usually expect to discuss vision and strategic goals but Dee wanted to discuss his Scholar Baller program, AYF’s focus on academics, and how we could improve what they already offer to families. It was evident that he shares a great passion for offering student-athletes the very best educational opportunities.”
AYF and US Performance Academy’s goal is to offer football teams training and education in one, seamless package. The student-athlete’s course schedule will be built around their training and game schedule. Their teachers, coaches, and learning coaches will work together to understand and support each individual student-athlete and provide a personalized experience for the entire family.
