About

Julie’s thirty years of experience as an educator extends across classroom teaching, academic and college advising, curriculum design, administration, higher education consulting, strategic planning, non-profit management, and athletic coaching. Julie first utilized the USPA curriculum for her U.S. Ski & Snowboard national team student athletes in her role as the Director of Athlete Career & Education, where she supported national team and Olympic-bound athletes on academic and professional pursuits. Julie’s passion for and experience with whole student athlete development informs her holistic approach to educational philosophy, counseling, coaching and leadership. Julie earned a B.A. in English Literature from Dartmouth College and M.A. from Middlebury College (Bread Loaf School of English) before teaching English and coaching lacrosse, swimming, and soccer at Hackley School, The Masters School, and Oakley School. She founded both Aptitude Academic Services and Aim Advising and was the VP of Client Services for Great Coach and Clear2Play. Julie enjoys skiing, mountain biking, trail running, camping, and adventuring in the mountains with friends and family.
