The Academic Difference

School Goes Where You Go
How We Do It:

We are the online school for elite athletes. USPA enables the student athlete to train and go to school at their own pace. Our Learning Coaches are the hub of the student’s support team and serve as an advisor, advocate and mentor for the student-athlete and family. By going to USPA, your family gets full academic flexibility and is not held down to traditional school schedules.

Customizing the Experience

Learning coaches offer a guided exercise in building your own learning style that will define your success beyond our learning environment
Our student centered community advocates for each student athletes learning experience

A Coach in the Classroom

Teachers and learning coaches have an understanding of every student’s learning style and pathway utilizing our proprietary software
USPA supports an academic calendar created by the student, not the school
A Personalized Curriculum
USPA Course Catalog

We strive to offer our students a variety of courses that they can excel in with the flexibility to get school work done at a pace that fits the demands of an elite athlete.

  • Our approach is granular, assignment by assignment, which promotes meaningful individualized learning

  • Students build their schedule, personalizing their education plan

  • We have a flexible approach that leverages a full calendar year

Human Connection

The team at USPA is second to none. Our teachers are best in class and very passionate about learning. Many of our teachers have been elite athletes themselves.

Voices from our Community

The support of my learning coach meant the world to me. Without his guidance and encouragement through the tough times, I certainly wouldn’t be the person I am today. The entire experience at USPA had an immense impact on me and prepared me to be my best self at the US Coast Guard Academy.”

Laura Slovensky, USPA Alumni, Sailing

USPA was crucial for me in my journey to being signed to a professional soccer team. My teachers and learning coach enabled my studies to be very flexible, yet still rigorous. I am grateful for all the support!”

Malcolm Fry, USPA Student, New England Revolution

USPA has been a game–changer for our family! Our daughter was in a fantastic private school prior to joining USPA in 6th grade, but she is a competitive figure skater, and it was becoming harder and harder for the school to accommodate her training schedule. We decided to make the jump to online school, and the transition has been very smooth.”

Eva Beninson, USPA Student, Figure Skating
